Schruns im Montafon

This is a super area for skiing, with a good range of slopes, all areas linked by ski bus. A higher altitude resort than Spital, with skiing down to the valley possible until late into the season. Try the ski tunnel at Hochjoch for something different!

Schruns lies at the western extremity of Austria. Access by road  is easiest from the west around lake Constance. By air use Zurich airport and then by rail (2 hrs 30mins), or by road (1hr 45 mins), see Travel

Our accommodation is midway between the Hochjochbahn and the Zamangbahn, some 10 minutes walk from the village centre. Ski equipment can be stored at depots located at the lift stations, subject to availability.

Schruns has an extensive website, you must visit it ! Don't forget to come back here and book your holiday ! Mostly written in German, but with English language options on certain pages. Very good piste maps.
